It’s been a fat minute since I’ve posted anything, I know. Here’s a quick update on a couple of the ministry opportunities we’ve had here in the U.S.:

  • Disaster relief in DeQuincy, LA. Hurricane Laura hit the town of DeQuincy really hard; it was the most destruction I’ve ever seen in person. We had the privilege of serving the homeowners with tree removal, roof repair, mold removal, etc. We also had the privilege of ministering the gospel to people who had no other hope in life.
  • Evangelism. Last week we got to go out and be the eyes and ears of Jesus as we talked to people in downtown Gainesville: we simply asked them questions and listened to their stories. Sometimes just listening and caring is the best way to minister to someone.

This afternoon we get to go out and do some more evangelism!!! God is moving right here in the States, all we have to do is let Him work through us. Are you willing to partner with Jesus to bring Kingdom in your community? It can be as simple as paying for the person behind you at the drive-through; if you’ve got eternity, giving a few dollars really doesn’t matter anymore.

Till not too much later,

Claire
