so what the heck have i been doing for the past month and a half?? i’ve been not the greatest at posting here, as life has been kind of hectic, so here’s an update on what life in cga has been like!

a typical week for me looks like class every morning 9-12, and on monday we go till 5 pm. each week is a different topic! a couple weeks ago we talked about identity, where we’re actually at with our identity in Christ, and what we can do to get where God wants us to be. this week we’ve been discussing physical health and how that affects every part of life, as well as how to set healthy rhythms for daily life. the overall goal so far has been to lead ourselves well, so we have the ability to lead others well later.

i also got a job!! i’ve been working at Bruster’s Ice Cream, an ice cream shoppe here in Gainesville. it’s been a little hard physically, dealing with chronic fatigue and working a job where i’m on my feet my whole shift, but i’m really grateful to have a job at all, and i’m excited to see all the things God does there. during CGA, a job is necessary to pay for groceries, gas, etc., but it’s also encouraged so we can take all the things we learn in class and apply them in every day life, preparing us for the rest of our professional lives.

CGA has also been a lot of relationship building with my house mates, classmates, and the wonderful staff. i’m super duper grateful to be back in Gainesville with AIM; the Lord has been doing a lot in me, and i can’t wait to share it all!!

i’m currently still fundraising for CGA! my next deadline is coming up!! i need $4,000 by September 24; if you feel led to donate, just click the donate button on the bar at the top of the page. it sounds like a lot, but we serve a big God and i believe He will provide!

anywho, thanks for sticking around and reading! i pray you have a blessed day and that you see all the good the Father is doing!
